Square
The Impero Gelateria is located in the small laneway that connects Piazza Erbe, the oldest square in Verona, and Piazza Dei Signori: a fascinating place, rich in history, where the ancient Roman forum arose.
Overlooking Piazza dei Signori (which the Veronese call Piazza Dante, because of its statue of the famous poet) provides great views of the precious and ancient buildings that surround it: the Town Hall or the Palazzo della Ragione (which was the site of the first citizens council) and the Cortile del Mercato Vecchio (the Old Market Square) with the Scala della Ragione and the imposing Lamberti Tower.
